Hello. I heard from friends that charging stations can be unsafe, and there is a risk of data theft via USB connection. Is this true? How can I understand whether I can trust this method of charging? Thanks for the answer.

There is a risk, but only at unreliable or older stations. Modern mobile phone charging station, such as those provided by ChargeSpot UK, use protected ports and even wireless charging, where data transfer is simply not possible. They also have closed cells where you can leave your phone charging without fear of theft. If you are worried about security, it is better to use either wireless charging or a regular adapter instead of a USB cable.
