I’ve been thinking about visiting the Vatican. I’d love to see the ancient architecture created by Italian masters of the past and the main, largest church for Catholics. I’m considering getting around by car, since the Vatican, although small, isn’t just a couple of blocks. Is it possible to rent a car there?

The Vatican is technically part of Rome, so you can rent a car there without any problem. You might worry that, since the Vatican is considered a separate country, driving there from Rome could be restricted, like crossing a border, but that’s not the case. You can also rent a car directly in Vatican city, for example here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/vatican-city . There are plenty of options from both private owners and small rental companies.
