I’m putting together a spreadsheet to compare a few ASICs, but I feel like I’m missing something. I’ve got hash rate and wattage listed, but what else should I consider? Has anyone done a full comparison of the major miners in 2025? Would love to hear from someone who already ran the numbers.

I’ve actually built a full tracker recently when I upgraded my setup. I looked at everything—hash rate, power draw, cooling type, noise level, size, and even maintenance difficulty. If you’re doing a bitcoin miner comparison 2025 https://captainaltcoin.com/best-bitcoin-miners-in-2025-comparison-prices-and-expert-insights/ I’d suggest also adding $/Th, daily energy cost, and estimated ROI based on your local electricity rate. When I compared WhatsMiner M60S and Antminer S21, for example, the S21 had a slight edge in performance, but the M60S had lower long-term energy costs and was easier to manage in tight spaces due to better cooling. Avalon A1466 also came up strong for colder environments. A good comparison always needs context, not just numbers.
Not sure if anyone else has run into this, but I’ve been burned too many times by Ethernet extenders that just… give up after a few months in rough environments.
I recently came across Enable-IT Ethernet Extender https://enableit.com/ethernet-extender/ - looks like they build everything in the US and actually design for harsh installs instead of pretending a server room is the real world.
Anyone here used their stuff in the field? I’m curious how they hold up long-term.Or if you’ve got other brands you swear by, I’d love to hear.
