I was editing some old photos and noticed an annoying watermark on one of them. I tried using an AI tool to remove it, and while it mostly worked, there were still some weird smudges where the text used to be. It wasn’t super noticeable, but if you looked closely, you could tell something was off. I was wondering—how good is AI at removing things like text or watermarks? Does it always leave some traces behind, or can it make it look completely clean?

Removing watermarks and text with AI tools is getting better, but it’s still not always perfect. Sometimes the result looks smooth, other times you can clearly spot where something was edited. I’ve played around with different apps just to see which ones handle these edits more naturally. While searching, I came across this page about apps like Photoleaps (https://skylum.com/blog/apps-like-photoleap) it gave me some new options to test out. Honestly, experimenting with a few different tools helped me figure out which ones feel reliable for quick fixes without making the image look fake.
