I never thought I’d need a GPS tracker for my daughter, but last summer changed my mind. We were at the beach, and she ran ahead while I was gathering our things. Within seconds, she was out of sight, and I had a moment of pure panic. Thankfully, she was just playing near some rocks, but it made me realize how quickly kids can disappear in crowded places. Now, I’m wondering if a wearable tracker would be a good idea. I want something small and comfortable for her to wear, but also reliable. Are these trackers really worth it, or do they just give parents a false sense of security?

This is an interesting topic! I can see both sides—on one hand, it’s great for safety, but on the other, I wonder if kids might become too reliant on it instead of learning to be aware of their surroundings. I guess it depends on how it’s used. Either way, technology like this is definitely changing how parents keep track of their kids!
