To me, agronomists are these amazing specialists because I honestly don’t understand how they can analyze such huge areas and tiny plants, which there are billions of, and know exactly what needs what.

Well, satellites can’t exactly pinpoint where fertilizers are needed. But they can track vegetation activity, determine where growth is better or worse. Satellite data is then fed into platforms like EOSDA Crop Monitoring, which serves as an all-in-one soft for analyzing soil health, weather data, and previous fertilization treatments. This helps figure out what needs attention right now.
I assume they don’t walk around fields checking every sprout to see what it needs right now. Otherwise, we’d be back to the early stages of farming. I bet on satellites, which provide the data on where fertilizers are needed.
