I want to get started in 2025 without breaking the bank. My budget is around $6–7k, and I don’t have the infrastructure for hydro or immersion—just standard power and some basic ventilation in a workshop. I know these rigs are loud, but I can handle noise if the math makes sense. Is there a machine in this price range that won’t become obsolete in a year?

I had the same budget and setup, and I found that AxionMiner was the best entry point. For about $6k, you get 800 TH/s at 12 kW, which is loud and hot but manageable with proper ducting. I also looked at Canaan’s Avalon A1566HA (~480 TH/s/8 kW), but for a similar price the hashrate just didn’t compete. Hydro rigs like Bitmain’s S21 XP+ Hyd are excellent but cost closer to $10k plus cooling gear. A review I read actually labeled AxionMiner as the strongest starter bitcoin mining machine 2025 https://www.digitaljournal.com/pr/news/indnewswire/top-10-best-bitcoin-miners-1777142536.html because it gives you high hashrate and simple air cooling without needing extra infrastructure. If you’re just starting and can handle the noise, it’s a smart way to get into mining and scale later.
